WHO THIS WORK IS FOR
Businesses needing recurring GST compliance or a review of pending filing periods.
GST Return Filing — what the work covers
A dependable return process begins before the due date. Sales invoices, credit notes, purchase records and tax payment information need to reach the reviewer in an agreed format and by an agreed cut-off.
For the relevant registration and period, we reconcile sales reporting and review the inputs used for tax payment and credit. Differences are shared for clarification before the return is finalised. The engagement records which periods and tasks are included.

FEES & TIMING
Fees and timing for GST Return Filing
Your proposal should identify the professional work, deliverables and any separate charges. Relevant fee factors for this service include:
- Number of GST registrations, filing periods and transaction volume
- Availability and consistency of invoices, books and portal downloads
- Reconciliation of marketplace transactions, input credit or prior differences
- Whether notices, amendments or annual reconciliations are separately included
Agree the period and record cut-off before starting. Missing invoices, portal differences and management confirmations affect when a complete working can be prepared.
BEFORE YOU BEGIN
Questions worth asking.
Can you file from bank statements alone?
Bank receipts do not identify every invoice, tax rate or credit note. We identify the supporting sales and purchase records needed before confirming readiness.
What if the period had no business?
The applicable nil return obligations should still be checked. No activity should not be treated as permission to ignore the registration.
Can you take over mid-year?
Yes. Prior returns, portal balances and unresolved differences are reviewed so the new working starts from a documented position.
What will I receive after the monthly filing work?
The agreed return working, reconciliation or difference list, and available filing acknowledgements. Confirm which reconciliations and periods are included before the recurring engagement begins.
Can you review several GSTINs together?
Share the registration list, record format and filing history. The scope should identify work for each GSTIN and distinguish registration-level reporting from entity-wide accounts.
ILLUSTRATIVE WORKFLOW · NOT A CLIENT CASE STUDY
Books and outward-supply reporting do not agree
The sales register contains 100 invoices, while the draft return working includes 98. The difference list identifies the missing invoices, credit notes and reporting period for clarification before finalisation.
What matters: Keep the books-to-return reconciliation and the reason for each adjustment. Matching a headline total does not by itself establish that the invoice-level reporting is complete.
